CUSTOM BUILT ROBINSONS GREENHOUSES

Only quality greenhouses should be considered for modification and this work should only be attempted by experienced people who have been involved in the design of the greenhouse structure being modified and who know the technical reasons certain parts of the structure are designed to withstand such things as wind and snow loadings as experienced in England for instance.

Some quality greenhouse manufacturers offer only their factory standard sizes without a modification service and there are a couple of manufacturers who specialise in providing a custom build service from the drawing board to site, however their costs are beyond the reach of many. Please be aware that the majority of greenhouses on the market however have frames that are not robust enough for modification. Some of the cheaper ranges of greenhouses even provide a sticker for you to fix to their finished frames to remind you to sweep away snowfall from the roof. These structures or similar are not suitable for modification under any circumstances.
